CITI Training / Occupational Health Requirements

- CITI training and Occupational Health Requirements vary depending on the species used and the procedures approved in the IACUC protocol
- For NEW protocols, TRIENNIAL review applications and non-Study Amendments, CITI training and Occupational Health clearance must be in place prior to IACUC approval
- For STAFF AMENDMENTS, CITI Training and Occupational Health clearance should be in place prior to submission to the IACUC
CITI Training
All Study Staff (MGH and non-MGH) on an MGH IACUC Protocol must complete the CITI training requirement

Occupational Health Clearance
All personnel must maintain a current OHS Clearance. Not doing so will impact IACUC protocol approvals.
- NHPs: research staff must have obtained clearance from OHS within the past year.
- To obtain a new or updated clearance to work with NHPs, contact Occupational Health at 617-726-2217 to schedule TB surveillance.
- If you have proof of TB surveillance from another provider, email it to mgbohsanimalclearance@partners.org or fax it to 617-643-5570. Include Animal Research OHS Clearance in the email or fax Subject line.
- All other species: research staff must have obtained clearance from OHS within the past 3 years
