(COVID-19) Response Plan, Return to On-site Research and Continuity Plans
The MGH Animal Care and Use Program is required by regulatory agencies to have an emergency preparedness plan to specifically address the care of the research animals during a pandemic situation. This responsibility extends to the recovery plan during return to on-site research, and the continuity plan during additional surges of new variants or other complications presented by the pandemic. This webpage provides specific instructions and updates regarding the steps everyone should take related to animal research during the implementation of Phase 1 and Phase 2 return to work, and to help maintain the animal care and use program throughout the pandemic.
